Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The application and placement process takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks and placements are made based upon successful acceptance into the program and availability of the requested internship. If you need an application expedited please let us know and we will see if it is feasible.
1.Select your preferred internship and include second and third choices. Please contact us at isla.serve@gmail.comif you need help finding the best fit for you. 2.Complete the application form and provide preferred internship dates. Please note that you will be asked to upload supporting documents (CV/resume and university transcripts) to your application. 3.Please carefully read the appropriate internship position description to which you are applying. Our internships are competitive and placement is based on our assessment of your education, skills, and interests. Your essay should clearly demonstrate how your skills and background qualify you for the internship. 4.Upon receipt of your application, click on the PayPal button to submit your $50 non-refundable application fee. Your application will be processed upon receipt of this fee. If you are located in the U.S., you may send a check to FCDE-Isla, PO Box 6560, Ketchum, ID 83340, U.S.A. 5.Please register online to access your personal Isla Internship account. This access allows you to upload your application and supporting documents. References may be sent via email to isla.serve@gmail.com. 6.Upon receipt of your complete application, we will schedule a Skype call at your convenience to get to know you better. 7.An internship offer will be sent to you via email. You will have two weeks to accept and submit the $500 deposit fee. This confirmation fee is credited towards your program fee. 8.Once you have confirmed your internship placement, we will send your participant contract and an invoice for payment of your full program fees. 9.You can begin your pre-departure activities, such as getting a passport, booking your flight, etc. 10.
