Program Overview
Intern with organizations dedicated to youth empowerment, education, and peacebuilding, while driving community engagement, skill development, and social impact.
Organizations and early childhood Montessori schools dedicated to enhancing education play a crucial role in equipping youth, educators, and communities with the skills needed to foster growth and engagement. Through Montessori early childhood education, professional development programs for youth, teacher training, digital education initiatives, and workforce readiness programs, these organizations help individuals build essential skills, preparing them for academic and professional success.
Beyond skill-building programs, these organizations emphasize experiential learning through initiatives such as summer camps that promote peacebuilding and understanding among diverse groups, service-learning projects, and digital literacy training. Teacher training programs focus on instructional design and technology integration, ensuring educators have the tools to enhance classroom learning. Additionally, specialized online modules provide youth across the country with opportunities to develop career-relevant skills, with the potential to expand abroad.
Interns working with these organizations gain hands-on experience in program development, research, proposal writing, and project implementation. You will also collaborate closely with experienced Montessori teachers and staff, participating in various classroom activities and educational initiatives outside of the classroom. Opportunities range from more direct engagement like assisting with summer camps and/or afterschool soft skills and empowerment programs to more macro opportunities such as research projects, outreach efforts, and network engagement. Those with a passion for innovation can take the lead in designing their own activities to advocate for quality education!
For individuals passionate about education, community development, and both hands-on and digital learning, this internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, build professional networks, and develop valuable skills while shaping the future of education.
