Isla Faculty-Led and Service Learning Trips

Isla faculty-led or service-learning trips provide an opportunity for students, friends, family, classmates or colleagues to come together on a short-term, high-impact project with one or more of Isla's local partner grassroots organizations.
Ideally, these projects are designed around a group, such as a university course, club, or service learning or volunteer group that is already engaged with a topic that aligns closely with the goals and priorities of our host communities. Any group with a genuine interest in developing a strong relationship with a community a world away can participate in this program.

"Thank you all so much for your help in ad out of the program. Without you all at Isla we would not have been able to experience Kosovo the way that all of us students have. I truly believe that with the help of isla our experiences have been elevated compared to Miami's previous years here."
-Cody Vandergrift, Miami University of Ohio
