Warren R. Campbell International Internship Scholarships are available!

Isla's Warren Campbell International Internship Scholarship offers support for highly talented and motivated undergraduate and graduate students, as well as early career professionals interested in an opportunity to have a substantive impact on the sustainable development work being carried out by Isla's parent organization - the Foundation for Community Development and Empowerment.

Warren Campbell International Internship Scholarship recipients are awarded either full or partial scholarships to participate in an Isla internship in Uganda during the fall or spring semester. Scholarships cover full or partial fees, depending on the amount awarded to the recipient.

Good news!  You may combine your Warren Campbell scholarship with other university-based and national scholarships to make the cost of your internship next to nothing or at least at a much lower cost.

Eligibility

  • You have a 3.3 or above GPA in college level classes
  • You are at least a sophomore in college
  • You have previous experience or interest in social, international, and/or advocacy work
  • You have a strong desire to continue international development work
  • You have specific experience and skills in the internship position
  • Previous experience with FCDE/isla

Timeline

  • Scholarships are awarded for our winter, spring, and fall internship start dates
  • We review applications on a rolling basis
