Dua Lipa's Sunny Hill Festival is an international music festival that puts Prishtina, Kosovo on the festival map as a not-to-be missed musical and cultural destination. The proceeds of the Sunny Hill Festival support the activities of the Sunny Hill Foundation.

The Sunny Hill Festival seeks Isla interns to assist with the following projects and activities to begin as early as 3 to 6 months before the festival in August 2024:

DokuFest was founded in 2002 by a group of friends and is an international documentary and short film festival held annually in August in the city of Prizren, Kosovo. It has since grown into a cultural event that attracts international and regional artists and audiences. It is the largest Film Festival in Kosovo with a selection of more than 200 hand-picked films from around the world. Films are screened throughout the nine-day festival and accompanied by programs, activities, and workshops, including DokuPhoto exhibitions, DokuNights, DokuKids, and rich programs of socially engaging debates, master classes and Q&A sessions after the screenings. Since 2019, DokuFest has earned the esteemed status of being a BAFTA (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts) qualifying festival for short films, and in 2022, it was designated as a nominating festival for the prestigious European Film Academy.

This event is supported by the passion and energy of a large local and international community that buzz around every corner of Prizren.

The Anibar Animation Festival has become one of the largest cultural events in Kosovo, and one of the largest animation festivals in the Balkans. The Anibar festival promotes the animation industry in Kosovo not only as an art form, but also as a medium to raise social awareness.

Anibar presents a variety of opportunities for Isla Interns to feel a sense of community while also contributing to important social development work through various projects in art, culture education, film, media, and technology. Their vision is to cultivate a resilient society by promoting sustainable development through free expression in culture and arts.

This is also done through their Animation Academy for youth where Interns may engage with aspiring young animators.
