Intern in diverse fields such as business, IT, tourism, education, and social services in beautiful Malaga, a Mediterranean seaport on the Costa del Sol in the Andalusian region of southern Spain. It is the second most populous city in Andalusia, the 6th most populous in Spain, and more importantly, a significant tourist destination. ​This birthplace of Picasso is also famous for its rich architectural history, Mediterranean cuisine, local wines and sandy beaches.​

Languages Spoken

More often than not, the people of Spain refer to their language as Castellano rather than Español (Spanish) because the latter can be any of the other languages spoken in the country. These other languages include Aranese, Basque, Catalan, Galician. English is also a widely spoken language.​​

Visas

A valid U.S. passport is required for U.S. citizens. Your U.S. passport must be valid for at least three (3) months from the expected date of departure to Spain. U.S. citizens traveling on regular tourist passports may stay in Spain for a total of 90 days within 6 months without a Spanish visa. An empty page for each stamp is needed. Other citizens should check with Isla and the Spanish embassy in your country.
