Empowering Women Economically

Intern with a prominent organization dedicated to advocating for women’s rights in Kosovo. The organization aims to support, protect, and promote the rights and interests of women and girls across Kosovo, emphasizing equality in education, employment, political participation, healthcare, and freedom from violence.

Summary of Projects and Internship:

The internship will focus on the Empowering Women Economically program, addressing the gender gap in economic opportunities in Kosovo. Tasks and activities may include:

  1. Research and Data Collection:Conduct research on relevant topics.
    Implement surveys and analyze collected data.

  2. Project Implementation:Contribute to the implementation of projects.
    Collaborate on initiatives promoting economic equality for women.

  3. Events and Activities Planning:Plan and participate in events related to women's economic empowerment.

Program Goals:

  • Promote equal economic opportunities for women and men in both the public sphere and working from home.

Program Objectives:

  1. Improve Labor Force Participation:Enhance conditions for women’s participation in the labor force.

  2. Enhance Property Ownership:Increase women's access to inheritance and property ownership.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or holding a university degree in gender studies, international studies, diplomacy, political sciences, social studies, communications, public relations, English, creative writing, or related fields.

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently in various settings.

  • Motivation and commitment to effective teamwork in an inter-cultural environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to learn, flexibility, and an understanding of cross-cultural differences, Kosovo's culture, history, and current events.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the empowerment of women in Kosovo, gaining practical experience in gender studies, international relations, and advocacy for equal rights.
