You will have the opportunity to intern with a prominent organization dedicated to advocating for women's rights in Kosovo. The organization's mission is to support, protect, and promote the rights and interests of women and girls across Kosovo, emphasizing equality, education, employment, political participation, healthcare, and a life free from violence.
Summary of Projects and Internship:
The internship will focus on women's healthcare issues in Kosovo, and tasks may include:
Research: Conducting research on relevant topics, including surveys, data collection, and analysis.
Project Implementation: Contributing to the implementation of projects related to women's health.
Event Planning: Participating in the planning and execution of events and activities.
Strengthening the Feminist Movement in Kosovo:
Continuous goal and vision.
Focus on building an inclusive, diverse, and sustainable feminist movement.
Address challenges hindering solidarity among women, emphasizing support, capacity development, networking, outreach, and sustainability.
Program Objectives:
Strategy Establishment: Develop a strategy for advancing feminism in Kosovo and work towards its implementation.
Solidarity Building: Increase solidarity among women's rights organizations.
Capacity Development: Improve organizational capacity for long-term advocacy and sustainability.
Funding Climate Improvement: Enhance the funding climate for women's rights organizations.
Internship Requirements:
Seeking or holding a university degree in gender studies, international studies, diplomacy, political sciences, social studies, communications, public relations, English, creative writing, or related fields.
Ability to take initiative and work independently in both office and field settings.
Motivated and committed to effective teamwork in an intercultural environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and understand cross-cultural differences, Kosovo's culture, history, and current events.
